… and we were right beside them. Well not quite, as we couldn’t keep up with these guys, but we were there at the finish line waiting with our client Jaguar, the team’s ‘innovation partner’ with a celebratory brand new F-PACE car.
Jaguar designed a special livery for its new F-PACE prototype to celebrate Team Sky’s success. The car appeared in Utrecht for stage 1 of the tour to cheer the team off on their three week challenge, and then returned again to welcome to team over the finish line in Paris.

We supported the design and idea of a new celebratory camo, which was covered in photograph’s from key iconic moments throughout the race including Team Sky’s 1-2 finish in La-Pierre-Saint-Martin. The design showcased moments from Froome winning his first stage followed by teammate, Richie Porte, as well as other highlights including Geraint Thomas tackling the mountains, and Luke Rowe leading the team out on the cobbles to the early team time trial stages.
To celebrate the Jaguar and Team Sky partnership, we also had the opportunity to set up an exclusive in car experience where one media outlet travelled in their Team Sky support vehicle, the XF Sportbrake, with the team along Stage 13. They were given a glimpse of the military precision that goes into organising the staff who look after Chris Froome and his teammates for three weeks along the gruelling three-week 3,360 km (2,087 miles) race. Having the opportunity to ride in the team car following behind the riders, being plunged into a hair-raising high speed battle each day, surrounded by a blur of motorbikes and fans on narrow French roads was certainly an exceptional media experience.
