‘Run 2 Work’ with Buxton Water
Buxton Water wanted to increase their equity within the running conversation, but target a less elite running positioning, which their London Marathon sponsorship achieved. We suggested that they become a partner of Run 2 Work day initiative that encouraged people to run to or from work on the first Thursday of each month.
To encourage participation and raise awareness of the benefits of giving this a go, we created a series of content promoted through the Brand’s Twitter account. This consisted or a hero film, parodying the 90’s film sliding doors and starring the Buxton Bottleman.
We also created Hydration tips for people running in the morning and sampled water to those participating via the Buxton Hydration Tuk Tuk
By aligning themselves with the initiative, we enhanced the brand’s credentials within the running community but also conveyed key brand messages around the importance of healthy hydration and the benefits of an active lifestyle.
